David J McCarron, MA

Chief Strategy Officer

David holds a BA in History and the Humanities from the University of New Hampshire with a concentration in the ancient near east and comparative religion. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, his interests were directed toward advancing a network of master planned communities combining traditional healthcare services with complementary and alternative medicine. Advancing in Architectural firms with Healthcare Studios, he gained experience in all phases of design through construction administration.

He joined CCA in 2010 seeking more direct exposure to capital formation and property development pursuits. He has served in a key capacity advancing business relations, financial reporting and supporting transactional achievements – all towards the end goal of advancing the prototype solution for intergenerational wellness communities. In addition to his working knowledge of design and finance, he holds a Master’s degree in the Management of Aging Services from the Erickson School at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Dave’s efforts have been heavily engaged in sourcing and aggregating industry intelligence that informs practice initiatives. A key achievement of Dave’s has been the development of CCA’s extensive instant-search database represented by curated news and information that is generated by the Senior Living and related Industry sectors. This extends to a vast “tool kit” of proven best practices with emphasis on emerging new and enabling technologies. His acumen for learning coupled with his educational background is uniquely poised to foster trends in healthcare services where “East meets West” on main street.

David works out of a Coworking Studio that he cofounded in North Port, FL and was named one of twenty “People to Watch” by Biz (941) – a publication dedicated to covering business and innovation in Sarasota and Manatee Counties, Florida where he resides. As a remote worker for over a decade, he understands the strategic role that coworking models can play with respect to connecting our increasingly mobile workforce with the local community where they chose to live, work, play and age well together.
